Topiaries, flowers, food, live music, and more . . .

It is always exciting to visit Walt Disney World, but spring in Orlando brings blooms as EPCOT showcases mini gardens, like the fairy garden in the UK pavilion (see some cute fairy houses below), and fluffy ducks like Huey, Dewey, and Luey.

The butterfly tent is a must-experience, too! This is an annual display of classical Disney edutainment—observing the butterfly lifecycle, learning about plants, and learning how you can do your part in your own backyard to create a butterfly sanctuary.

There is always great food to enjoy year-round at the pavilions (hop into La Cava in the Mexico Pavilion for some great items to munch on and delicious sips), while festival pavilions bring snacks and sips to delight the palate for the season. This year, one of my favorite snacks was the Yacht Grub's Trio of dips and chips on the savory side and Brunchcot's Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites. There were over a hundred other items to choose from, such as the annual favorite Frushi; do not miss it.

No night is complete without tunes from the American Gardens Theatre, as local and national performing acts take the stage for three shows a night to belt out hits for EPCOTians to jam to. This is a great opportunity to experience live music, relax from a 20,000-step day of exploring all the festival has to offer, and wind down for fireworks to end the day.

I am already looking forward to next year's Flower and Garden festival. What is your favorite topiary or garden?
